Ma. Aleli V. Pansacola: Earth Mother Revives Herb Industry with Daila Herbal Soap
Ma. Aleli V. Pansacola, founder and CEO of Daila Herbal, has dedicated her life to promoting natural wellness, sustainable livelihood, and environmental care. Inspired by the healing potential of herbs and essential oils, she began her journey by establishing herbal gardens and empowering local communities to cultivate natural resources.
In 1987, her passion led to the creation of Daila Herbal Soap, one of the Philippines' pioneering natural herbal products. Through years of research and collaboration, she developed coconut-based and herbal solutions using ingredients such as aloe vera, citronella, and other botanical extracts. Her commitment to sharing the benefits of nature continues to inspire Daila's mission of creating products that support healthier living while caring for the environment.
"I also learned about the curative powers of herbs and found out that there were certain illnesses that could only be cured by it."
A Legacy of Herbal
Innovation
DAILA HERBAL COMMUNITY ENTERPRISES is a corporation engaged in manufacturing environment and health-friendly natural herbal products in the Philippines such as soaps, laundry granules, and personal and household care products. Its credo, “Mother Nature Needs a Friend” is being campaigned throughout the archipelago and in the global community.
DHCE was conceived and established by its President and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Aleli V. Pansacola in 1986 when she joined the Philippine Institute for Alternative Futures and was assigned to head the Herbal Group. The group organized herbal seminars for grassroots communities across the country, with the goal of sharing herbal technologies, establishing herbal gardens, and improving sustainable livelihood opportunities.
From a single proprietorship in 1987, DHCE was incorporated in 1991. The corporation expanded into herbal manufacturing and joined prestigious international shows and fairs in the Philippines and abroad. Victoria Herbal Laundry Granules received international awards and recognition from Switzerland, Morocco, Bulgaria, and Asia.
The company’s bath, beauty, and laundry soaps are pure, natural, herbal, and coconut-based. Victoria Herbal Laundry Granules provides a natural alternative to conventional chemical laundry detergents.

Since our products are coconut-based and no chemicals are added, the water used for washing clothes can be used for bathing animals without harming their skin and body. Dried lather may be used to help remove pests in affected areas. It can also be used for watering plants and supporting fertile, healthy soil. Coconut-based soap washing has been shown to help maintain fertile soil, and our products are fully biodegradable.
Daila Herbal is a founding member of the Philippines Chamber of Herbal & Natural Health Industries; Federation of Natural, Organic & Environment Friendly Organizations; Entrepinoy Foundation; and ATHAG (Association of Traditional Health Aid Givers).
